Payment

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. These are processed online using the Protx secure payment service. Prices are shown in Great British Pounds Sterling. Cards are processed immediately using the Protx secure system. Please do not send credit card details by e-mail. If you have any queries about making payments please email us at admin@medal-frames.com. We operate a 100% anti-spam policy and we never pass your details on to anyone else.

Delivery Details

Important delivery notes

Packages are shipped via a courier depending on the weight of the order and the contents. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Courier deliveries

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm. Saturday delivery is available for a surcharge of £14.99. If you want to book Saturday delivery, please contact us.

Our couriers require a signature when they deliver a parcel. If you ask for a parcel to be left without a signature (for instance, in your shed or outside your front door), you agree to accept liability for any loss should the package go missing after it is left.

If you are out when the parcel is delivered, you will be left a card with contact details of our couriers. You need to call them to arrange a new delivery slot or arrange to collect from your local depot. If you do not arrange this within 5 days of the card, your order will be automatically returned to us and a new delivery will have to be booked and paid for.

Please be aware you cannot change the delivery address (i.e. from home to work) after a delivery job is booked without incurring a new delivery charge.

Minimum Quantities

Unlike some shops, we do not have a minimum order.

Breakages

Our priority is to get your products delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible. However, there is no way to be 100% sure that a package will survive the journey intact. We will replace or refund the cost of any items that arrive broken but you must inform the courier on receipt of the package. We cannot be responsible for any breakages reported after the courier has left your premises.

Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel, you can email us or write to us within seven working days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service with adequate insurance to cover the value of the items.

Other notes

For reasons of security we will only ship to the billing address on the credit card when you order online. If this is not convenient please contact us and we will make an alternative arrangement (we will need to verify your identity to do this). Packages may require a signature on delivery. If no one is available when the package is delivered you may need to collect this from a local depot.

Security

All credit card details are processed using the Protx secure transaction system. Details are not stored on the Internet or on any of our own computers.

This web site is fully integrated with Protx, one of the leading secure payment systems - as approved by many of the well known high street banks. Sensitive information is only requested on pages that are located on the Protx secure servers and this information cannot be accessed or viewed by anyone else. All transactions are encrypted using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) architecture (dependent on browser support), and are signed using Thawte digital certificates. Simply put, this site integrates with one of the most secure systems available.

Using the Protx system, your credit card information remains safely in the hands of you and Protx. No one else has access to this.

Despite this attention to security we do understand that some people prefer not to enter their details online. If you have such concerns please contact us to arrange payment by alternative methods.

Errors and Omissions

We make efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our web site. If an error is made, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products affected by the error.

Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time. If payment has already been received and we exercise this right, a refund will be made for any monies taken.
